Our on-staff financial advisers, Reginald Grandjean and Nicholas Beiter, are Registered Representatives of Legend Equities Corporation, an investment planning firm. Reginald and Nicholas are able to offer a wide variety of investment solutions, specializing in creating personal investment plans for individuals and small to medium size businesses. From inception to end, we strive to establish and maintain a long-term relationship where we are just a phonecall away. In addition to a personal adviser, our clients enjoy having The Legend Group and their respective Investment Companies as resources at their disposal. Consultations are complimentary and fees vary depending on specific needs and the nature of investments. In any event, fees can be tied to the value of your account, so your success is our success!

For You and Your Family:

  • Personalized Retirement Plan
We can help you outline your goals and create a realistic retirement plan. This requires an in-depth understanding of your situation - pension(s), social security benefits, savings, assets, liabilities, current income, expected future income, inflation, and other factors.

  • Rollover IRAs
When someone terminates employment what happens to the savings they have accumulated their company-sponsored retirement plan? This event creates a number of options, so an informed decision may be critical in order to avoid tax penalties and take advantage of new opportunities. A rollover IRA can offer the opportunity to select from a more extensive range of investments and team up with a professional adviser.

  • Personal Investment Accounts
We set up all types of personal investment accounts, specializing in tax-sheltered accounts. Account types include IRAs, ROTH IRAs, non-qualified accounts, and more. Some automatic investment plans can be started with as little as $25.

  • Retirement Savings Plans for Educators
Educators and employees of certain non-profit organizations are eligible to establish accounts under Section 403(b) of the IRS tax code. Although the New York State Teacher's Retirement systems provides a comprehensive pension plan, a 403(b) account is intended to help bridge the gap created by inflation during retirement. Through our relationship with local school districts, we can set up your deductions through payroll and provide personal service on your employer-sponsored retirement account.

  • College Savings Plans
College savings strategies allow parents, grandparents, prospective students, and others willing to fund someone's education a vehicle to shelter investment gains from taxes if the investment is used for higher education costs. With the rising cost of education, it is important to take advantage of tax savings and investment opportunites.

  • For the Risk Averse
We understand investing in securities is not for everyone. If you're looking for protection of principal, we can offer a number of alternatives to that may suit your needs.

For Your Business:

  • Payroll-Deducted IRA
A payroll-deducted IRA investment program is the least costly plan an employer can offer. In fact, the owner bears no administrative costs and contributions are made by employees only. The only difference between a payroll-deducted IRA and and IRA someone establishes on his own is the method of funding it - through payroll deductions!

  • Simplified Employee Pension Plan (SEP)
A SEP is funded solely by the employer, making the SEP ideal for single owner-operator businesses. A SEP may also be appropriate if an employer wishes to contribute on behalf of his or her employees. SEP contributions to the employer's account are made before Federal and State taxes. If incorporated, these contributions are also before Social Security and Medicare taxes. Contributions on behalf of employees are tax deductible to the employer.

  • SIMPLE IRA
SIMPLE (stands for Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees) IRAs are named appropriately because set up and administration are straightforward. The SIMPLE IRA is a popular choice among small business owners who want to offer a competetive retirement plan while attempting to minimize the overall cost. The employer's cost is primarily bourne through the employer's contribution on behalf of employees, which can be as much as 3% of the participating employees' gross wages per calendar year. The "Employer Match" is tax deductible to the employer.

  • Individual 401(k)
The Individual or Personal 401(k) is similar to the 401(k) except it is only available for sole proprietors, single owner-employee businesses, and owner's spouses who are also employees. Because of this limitation, plan administrative expenses are minimal. Compared with a SEP or SIMPLE IRA, the Individual 401(k) offers higher annual contribution limits and offers participants the ability to take loans on their accounts. Contributions are made in two ways - profit-sharing and salary deferral. The profit-sharing portion, or "Employer Match," is tax deductible to the employer. ROTH plans are also available.

  • 401(k) and Safe Harbor 401(k)
Arguably the most well-known type of contributory retirement plan, 401(k) plans were once offered primarily by large businesses. Competition and technology have driven down administrative expenses making 401(k) plans a desirable option for large and small businesses. 401(k) plans are flexible, have high contribution limits, and allow participants to draw loans on their accounts. Contributions are made in two ways - profit-sharing and salary deferral. The profit-sharing portion, or "Employer Match" is tax deductible to the employer. ROTH plans are available.
